The fabricator is a documentation of a self-employed creative youth in Mukono district, a fast growing and urbanizing town on the boundaries of Kampala city.

Pius E Manzi calls himself a fabricator because of his ability to put pieces of anything together and creating something beautiful.

From bending metals, curving wood and giving spaces a new face. He loves design, and his hands are swift with art.

A graduate with a Bachelors in Industrial Art from Makerere University, his love and ability to create things is something he remembers to have lived with all his life. He believes it is a divine gift he was born with.

This gift he testifies has helped him support his sister, sustain his fiancé and is ready to have a family now. He is thankful to have not have had to look for a job but instead have the opportunity to provide employment to some of his colleagues
